• As I said in the first message, http://127.0.0.1:23119/connector/ping does not load on my system, this is the problem.

• I tried the step regarding the proxy in https://zotero.org/support/kb/connector_zotero_unavailable However, I don't know which security software are running on my system (Ubuntu), so I did not check that.
